Solar System for Yvonne Cuschieri House

Thanks to the Queanbeyan Leagues Club through the 2024 NSW ClubGrants Program Yvonne Cuschieri House will be installing a 24.4kW Solar System, costing $27,500, which will produce an estimated 41,611 kWh of electricity per year and reduce dramatically the electricity bills and carbon footprint for the respite care facility.

Respite Care for QBN Chair Paul Walshe OAM said this is a wonderful grant to receive from the Queanbeyan Leagues Club as it will make a huge difference to the running costs budget of Yvonne Cuschieri House. We would like to thank the Queanbeyan Leagues Club Board and General Manager Jeremy Wyatt for their ongoing commitment to Respite Care for QBN and the many other local charities they support, without the Leagues Club many charities would struggle financially.

Queanbeyan Leagues Club General Manager Jeremy Wyatt said it is great for the club to be able to support a local Queanbeyan charity in Respite Care for QBN as Yvonne Cuschieri House will have a positive impact on respite care services in Queanbeyan and the surrounding region.

Also a big thank you to Pete Bromhead from Spectrum Solar
