It was a real pleasure to be a part of Patches Queanbeyan Rodeo Presentation night on Monday 3rd June. Queanbeyan Rodeo run one of the region’s most successful rodeos and continue to raise funds for local charities and not for profit community groups. Respite Care for QBN was fortunate enough to be one of charities to receive a wonderful donation of $2000 on the night. Preparations are already underway for an even better rodeo next year on 8 March 2025.
Work commenced on 7 June on clearing the block on Ross Road to commence construction of Yvonne Cuschieri House. A huge thanks to Grant Jones and the team at DJ Homes for making it possible. Great local family and business.
The 4th Respite Care for QBN Charity Golf Day is locked in for Thursday 31 October 2024 as we play again for the Yvonne Cuschieri OAM Memorial Cup. Further information and packages will be released in the coming months.
